Clearly identify the problem, opportunity or scientific question that prompted the work.
Show What Is New
Explain the original contribution and how it advances existing research, technology or practice.
Provide Evidence
Support the paper with specific findings, quantitative results and a clear statement of impact.
Prepare Before You Begin
A complete CLEO contributed-paper submission includes the following:

Provide the complete author list and all affiliations.
Include a concise abstract that summarizes the paper topic.
Upload a properly formatted, final PDF prepared with the official style guide.
Publication: Accepted work that is presented at CLEO will be published through the Optica Publishing Group platform and submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Presented work is also indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus and other indexing-service partners.
